Document. Gather and document important records including pay stubs or proof of payment from your employer, contact information for your employer (full name, address, and phone number), and any timesheets or records of your work.
File a Wage Claim at the CA Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE), also know as the Labor Commissioner.
