Celebrate domestic worker power with the California Domestic Workers Coalition!
We invite you to our multimedia art exhibit showcasing the years-long movement to advance the rights and dignity of immigrant women workers in California. Through a display of mixed media you will become immersed in the sights, sounds, and testimonies of domestic worker and employer leaders’ fight for justice. Hear powerful stories, engage in meaningful discussions, and connect with others who share a passion for supporting this vital workforce.
This art show will take place on Thursday, May 9 at Oakstop from 5-8pm and feature portraits of domestic worker and employer leaders taken by renowned photographers Riccardo Stanley and Joe Ramos. Doors will open at 5pm and program will begin at 6:45pm.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to show your appreciation and learn more about the strides domestic workers and domestic employers are making for workers’ rights and efforts to build safe and healthy workplaces. We look forward to seeing you there!
