You are exempt from daily overtime if you meet these conditions:
- As long as you do not work more than 40 hours or 6 days in any week (in non-emergency).
You are entitled to the following overtime:
1.5 x Hourly Rate of Pay
- After 40 hours in a week or work on the 7th consecutive day (in case of emergency).
- If you regularly work more than 40 hours or 6 days in a week, then after 8 hours in a day, after 40 hours in a week, & the first 8 hours on the 7th consecutive day.
2 x Hourly Rate of Pay
- If you regularly work more than 40 hours or 6 days in a week, then after 12 hours in a day or after 8 hours on the 7th consecutive day.
